If you select a workflow that has no metadata associated with it, you may see a blank screen appear for a few seconds after clicking OK on the workflow selection screen. This is normal. If a workflow doesn’t have any metadata, the app is designed to bypass any metadata entry screens and take you directly to the Scan settings screen. Before the app can proceed to the Scan settings screen, the device has to process the workflow response before making a decision on what to do. This can take 1-3 seconds.
